Bruce Curtis-McLane

"I have been turning wood in Jackson for about six years.  I'm lucky to live next door to my son and daughter-in-law, who run an arborist business, so I have a great supply of interesting wood to work with.

"The first lathe I used was a homemade foot-powered job in the middle school woodshop in Hanover, NH.

"I do some surface embellishments on my bowls, but I mostly like to feature the beautiful grain patterns that are often a sweet surprise when I get inside the log."
